2024 WoMVA Conference
Over 100 Moore & Van Allen women attorneys and senior administrators attended the 2024 Women of Moore & Van Allen (WoMVA) Conference in May at The Casey. This year’s keynote address was, “Foundations for Flourishing: Leveraging the Science of Positive Psychology for Greater Well-being, Resilience, and Performance” by Jordana Confino, JC Coaching & Consulting Founder & CEO.
The conference included breakout sessions on maintaining hobbies and interests outside of work led by Bridget Grant, Co-head of Zoning, Entitlement, & Land Use, Sarah Negus, Employment & Labor Member, and Laura Truesdale, Litigation Counsel; individual marketing styles led by Tanisha Palvia, White Collar, Regulatory Defense and Investigations Member, Meredith French Reedy, Financial Services Member, and Melissa Weir, Marketing Manager; the path to member led by Lesley Firestone, Litigation Member, and Carolyn Meade, Corporate Member; and overcoming challenges led by Sarah Byrne, Member, Michele Glessner, Co-head of Trademark, and Caitlin Horne, Wealth & Estate Planning Member. These panelists discussed their experiences and insights related to building and sustaining a legal practice and highlighted important best practices they have learned at various stages of their careers.
