Moore & Van Allen (MVA) Financial Regulatory Advice & Response Co-head Neil Bloomfield and Senior Counsel John Stoker served as panelists for the Strafford live webinar “Attorney-Client Privilege and Bank Examination Privilege for Financial Institutions” which took place June 28. During this course, Neil and John were joined by LPL Financial Associate Counsel, Brian Soja, to analyze (i) how to preserve the attorney-client privilege in the context of internal investigations and bank examinations, (ii) how to respond to regulatory requests for privileged information, and (iii) the consequences of sharing privileged information with different regulators.
