Gabriel Mathless elected chair of Mecklenburg County’s Citizen’s Capital Budget Advisory Committee

On January 31, Moore & Van Allen (MVA) Bankruptcy Member Gabriel Mathless was elected chair of Mecklenburg County’s Citizen’s Capital Budget Advisory Committee, which provides oversight over, and facilitates community input into, the County’s $1.75B Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).

The CIP funds capital projects throughout Mecklenburg County, including the addition, renovation and replacement of County-owned facilities, infrastructure, equipment and land acquisition. The CIP also funds capital projects for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Central Piedmont Community College and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library.
