Gabe Mathless reappointed as Chair of Mecklenburg County’s Citizen’s Capital Budget Advisory Committee

Moore & Van Allen (MVA) Bankruptcy Member Gabriel Mathless has been reappointed as the Chair of Mecklenburg County’s Citizen’s Capital Budget Advisory Committee, which provides oversight over, and facilitates community input into, the County’s $1.75B Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). During this reappointment, Gabe will serve for a three-year term.

The CIP funds capital projects throughout Mecklenburg County, including the addition, renovation and replacement of County-owned facilities, infrastructure, equipment and land acquisition. The CIP also funds capital projects for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Central Piedmont Community College and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library.
