Tanisha Palvia serves on the NC Leadership Team for the Women's White Collar Defense Association

Moore & Van Allen (MVA) Tanisha Palvia serves on the NC Leadership Team for the Women's White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA), as well as on the Thought Leadership Committee for the national organization. WWCDA held their annual attorney meeting and leadership retreat last week in San Francisco, celebrating WWCDA’s 25^th year of supporting women in the practice. Every year WWCDA holds an Annual Attorney Meeting for its members, in conjunction with the ABA’s White Collar Crime Institute. The WWCDA meeting features powerful learning and networking opportunities and facilitates connecting, collaborating, and advancing women in the law. What started out more than two decades ago as a small gathering of women dubbed “Spa Day” has grown into a multi-day programming and networking event that hosts hundreds of women white collar lawyers from around the world.  This year’s meeting featured keynote speaker, Michelle Banks, senior advisor for Barker Gilmore and former Global General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Gap, Inc., as well as numerous informative and engaging panels, including “Around the World Hot Topics,” “Maximizing Data and AI in Today’s Investigations,” and “Navigating Pool Counsel and Joint Defense Representations
