Moore & Van Allen Shortlisted for Managing IP Patent Prosecution Award
Moore & Van Allen PLLC (MVA) is pleased to announce that the firm has been shortlisted for Managing IP’s 2024 Americas Awards as a “Firm of the Year” for patent prosecution in the southern United States. Award winners will be revealed at a gala dinner in New York City on April 25.
The awards program, now in its 19th year, recognizes remarkable achievements and developments in intellectual property from the year prior. The awards cover several IP practice areas and more than 50 jurisdictions. Shortlists and award decisions are made based on months of research among thousands of firms, practitioners, and their clients. Researchers also evaluate work data supplied by firms and, where applicable, publicly available information such as court and IP office records.
MVA’s Patent practice group is led by Member and Head of Intellectual Property W. Kevin Ransom. With more than 20 attorneys providing patent services, all of whom are registered patent attorneys with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and have technical degrees and engineering experience, the team’s capabilities span technical, electrical, mechanical, medical device, life science, chemical, and other fields. In addition to patent prosecution, they provide a broad range of patent services, including validity opinions, non-infringement opinions, licensing, technology transfer and strategic alliance agreements, research and development agreements, due diligence review, litigation, and patent portfolio development and management.
