MVA Celebrates 23rd Annual Sally & Bill Van Allen Public Service Award Luncheon
MVA celebrated its longstanding commitment to public service by hosting the 23rd Annual Sally & Bill Van Allen Public Service Award luncheon presentation on June 13. This annual event serves as an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our employees and community partners who are making significant service contributions.
Award recipients include:
Sally & Bill Van Allen Public Service Award Recipient: Amy K. Johnson
Outstanding Volunteer Staff Member Award Recipient: Alyssa McLean
LPL Diversity Champion Award Recipient: Jules Carter
During this year’s Public Service Award luncheon, Sarah Byrne was named as the Public Service Committee Co-chair. She will serve alongside current Co-chair, Ed O’Keefe. MVA’s Public Service Committee, established in 2001, leads the firm’s public service and pro bono efforts by identifying, coordinating, and facilitating opportunities for MVA attorneys and business professionals. Each project is managed by a volunteer project leader who coordinates efforts with the firm’s community partner organizations.
