Daisy Birtalan attends SelectUSA Investment Summit: Strengthening Austrian-American Economic Ties

Daisy Birtalan, MVA Director of the German Desk, attended the 10th SelectUSA Investment Summit, with record levels of participation from over 5,000 attendees from 96 international markets and 56 states and territories, all gathering to take advantage of in-person networking and informative programming on key industry topics affecting the FDI community.  A notable highlight of this year's Summit was CEO of Austria’s Greiner Packaging, who joined high-level representatives for a panel discussion on Women in Manufacturing. In conjunction with the Summit, Ambassador Petra Schneebauer hosted a ReFocus Austria networking reception for the Austrian Delegation at the Austrian Residence, which provided an excellent platform for interaction and collaboration between the Austrian delegation and key federal and state officials as a sign of Strengthening Austrian-American Economic Ties, held in Washington, DC.
