MVA Member Sarah Byrne was quoted in the USA Today Special Edition article titled, “Driving Down Suffering: DHS partners with Lyft to combat human trafficking.”

Sarah says, “that in addition to transportation and hospitality, the entertainment, medical, education and banking industries have a direct link to human trafficking. Victims interface with companies in these industries every day. Companies and employees across those industries have a specific and important role to play. And with the continued under-reporting of this kind of victimization, we need all hands on deck to work in coordination with DHS and law enforcement partners.”
