Luis Lluberas serves as Panelist for Restaurant Finance & Development Conference
Moore & Van Allen (MVA) Financial Restructuring Member Luis Lluberas served as a panelist at the Restaurant Finance Monitor’s Restaurant Finance & Development Conference in Las Vegas on November 13, held at the Fontainebleau. The panel focused on Franchisees: How to Successfully Navigate Financial Distress Situations.
“Collaboration needs to be part of the answer,” Lluberas noted. “When you get into distress, don’t be surprised if the first questions are, ‘What’s the other lender taking a hit on?’ or ‘Are you putting in equity?’ People may be willing to help, but they want to understand that they’re not the only ones contributing—and that other levers are being pulled. Be prepared to explain what others are doing to support the effort.”
