Chinuntdet a "Portrait of Pro Humanitate"
Charlotte Financial Services Member and Wake Forest University alumnus John Chinuntdet was profiled in the Fall 2013 Wake Forest Magazine – “The Pro Humanitate Issue.” Chinuntdet (’88) was featured in the piece "Portraits of Pro Humanitate" alongside other selected WFU alums, including six-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul, Wake Forest University Associate Counsel Carter Cook, former vice president of Goldman Sachs, Manju Seal, and other distinguished philanthropists, entrepreneurs and humanitarians.
Chinuntdet was recognized for partnering with the Military Family Lifestyle Charitable Foundation to organize and host “Reconnect Weekends” for wounded warriors and their families from the U.S. Army 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Fort Carson, Colorado, at their family’s Colorado ranch over the past two years. The Chinuntdet’s special guests are treated to four-day retreats of fly-fishing, hiking, shooting and relaxing.
“It occurred to me that our family should share what we have with the soldiers who serve our country and make sacrifices for us … to me, it just seems right to be doing this for our soldiers.”
