Firm Noted in Time Warner/DukeNet Acquisition Media

On October 7, Time Warner Cable announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Duke Energy and investment funds managed by Alinda Capital Partners to buy DukeNet Communications.  Moore & Van Allen provided legal counsel to DukeNet in the matter, thus has received mentions in much of the media coverage surrounding the acquisition, including: Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal’s Market Watch, Yahoo! Finance, New Statesman, The Street, Your Fibre Optic News, Broadband Communities, Akron Beacon Journal, Sys-Con Media and more.  The purchase price was $600 million, including the repayment of debt.
