Bridget Grant quoted on Proposed NoDa Project
Charlotte Real Estate Land Use and Development Consultant Bridget Grant was mentioned in the Charlotte Business Journal’s article on September 25. The article titled, “Proposed NoDa project includes affordable homes-but lacks support of city, some neighbors” discusses how the project pegged for the heart of NoDa has neighbors divided and a lack of support from city staff in the rezoning petition's current state.
City Council members lauded the developer's addition of the HouseCharlotte homes but had several questions pertaining to the site plan and implications relating to parking and traffic, consistently top concerns of residents with any type of rezoning throughout Charlotte. Additionally, City Council members had questions around trip generation that a coworking office creates.
Grant who represented Revolve Residential at the public hearing stated, “there's no indication that hundreds of coworking users would be at the space at any given time.”
