Hanks, Wilson and MVA Receive WTR 1000 Recognition
MVA Intellectual Property Members Arlene Hanks and Mark Wilson received World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR 1000) recognition. Now in its ninth year, the WTR 1000 shines a spotlight on the firms and individuals that are deemed outstanding in the intellectual property practice. The WTR 1000 remains the only standalone publication to recommend individual practitioners and their firms exclusively in the trademark field, and identifies the leading players in 70 key jurisdictions globally
The WTR 1000 stated, “A powerhouse of the Southeast, Moore & Van Allen has 300 legal professionals producing top-notch work for clients while making a huge contribution to the wider legal, business and civic community. On the IP front, the firm consistently hits home runs, serving up thorough search and clearance advice, thoughtful brand protection action plans and knife-like enforcement strategies. On the frontlines are Arlene Hanks and Mark Wilson, both of whom receive enthusiastic recommendations from clients. Arlene manages portfolios efficiently and effectively, giving clients plenty of lead time to do the diligence work they handle in-house. At the same time as being extremely thorough, she is also very pragmatic. As a litigator, Mark is practical, strategic, accessible and reasonably priced. He has exceptional listening skills and knows what it takes to win complicated trademark cases. Mark is definitely a leading practitioner.”
