Johnson Elected to Centre College Board
Charlotte Financial Services Member Lea Johnson was elected the newest member of Centre College’s Board of Trustees. Johnson was named as a member of the Class of 2014, and her term is effective immediately.
Johnson graduated from Centre with degrees in English and government. As a Centre student, Johnson was a charter member of the school’s Kappa Alpha Theta chapter, and she was also involved in Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Alpha Theta and tennis.
Centre College, founded in 1819, is a nationally ranked liberal arts college in Danville, Kentucky. Centre hosted its second Vice Presidential Debate on October 11, 2012, and remains the smallest college in the smallest town ever to host a general election debate.
