Lathrop leads discussion on What’s Keeping In-House Counsel Up At Night at Network of Trial Law Firms Seminar
11.10.2012
On November 10, 2012, Litigation Member Tony Lathrop moderated “What’s Keeping In-House Counsel Up At Night? Litigation Management From An In-House Counsel Perspective” at the Network of Trial Law Firms CLE Event in San Diego. Lathrop’s discussion provided a platform for meaningful exchange between in-house and outside counsel about critical concerns, including getting caught by surprise in a case due to outside counsel’s failure to communicate, the SEC’s pursuit of in-house lawyers individually, discovery abuse sanctions being imposed on in-house counsel, and the spiraling costs of electronic discovery and related information governance issues.
