MVA Announces New Members
Moore & Van Allen is pleased to announce the election of John A. Fagg, Jr., Tanya D. Greeley, Jared W. Poplin, Robert N. Rust, IV, Robert E. Sumner, IV and William (Bill) H. Zimmern as new members of the firm.
John Fagg’s primary areas of practice include business torts and general commercial litigation. His litigation experience includes a wide variety of complex litigation matters, including products liability claims, commercial disputes, allegations of unfair trade practices, and the defense of environmental claims in both the federal and state court systems.
Tanya Greeley has significant experience working with and advising corporate clients on a wide range of corporate matters and transactions. Her practice includes the negotiation and preparation of agreements and documents related to commercial transactions, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, among others.
Jared Poplin practices in the area of merger and acquisition transactions, corporate reorganizations, corporate finance transactions and other transactions that present challenges and opportunities for his corporate clients. Mr. Poplin also has significant experience advising clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including commercial contracts, entity formation and corporate governance.
Robert Rust's practice consists of a wide variety of transactional fields, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. Past and present representation includes Fortune 500 companies, privately held entities and private equity funds, with the scope of such representation encompassing complex acquisitions and divestitures of domestic as well as international entities.
Robert Sumner is a civil litigator in the firm’s Charleston office who represents a variety of clients including professionals, businesses, property owners, vessel owners, manufacturers, and builders. Mr. Sumner has tried cases in state and federal courts in North and South Carolina.
Bill Zimmern practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and general corporate law. He handles diverse transactional matters, from domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures to securities offerings, complex financings and other corporate matters.
