MVA Participates at 2017 Carolinas Directors Exchange
Charlotte Corporate Member James Wyche took part in the Carolinas Directors Exchange event held on Tuesday, September 26 at Quail Hollow Country Club. The one-day conference offered networking, small group interaction, expert panels, and content around “top of mind” issues of interest to public company board directors and senior executives from across the Carolinas. Duke Energy Chairman, President and CEO Lynn Good served as the keynote speaker.
Wyche served as moderator for the corporate governance panel discussion, “Latest Developments on Board Governance.” Panelists included James H. (“Jim”) Hance, Jr., a Senior Advisor to Carlyle Group who also is a director of Acuity Brands Inc., Carlyle Group, and Ford Motor Company and a retired vice chairman and chief financial officer of Bank of America Corporation; and John Williams, President, CEO and a director of Domtar Corporation and the lead independent director of Owens Corning. Charlotte Corporate Associate Wade Sample also participated in the planning and preparation of the event.
