MVA Ranked in 2016 "Best Law Firms"

U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers have again recognized Moore & Van Allen in their 2016 “Best Law Firms” rankings, both nationally and within the Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina metropolitan regions. 

MVA's Charlotte office was named a Tier 1 Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in 22 practice areas. The Firm’s Research Triangle office was named a Tier 1 Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in five practice areas, and the Charleston office was named a Tier 1 Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in six practice areas. The Firm’s Corporate, Securities/Capital Markets and Trademark practices were also recognized nationally. The U. S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings are considered to be the leading survey of lawyers worldwide, ranking more than 12,000 firms in 120 practice areas. Rankings are based on a collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys, and a review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. To be eligible for a ranking in a particular practice area and metro region, a law firm must have at least one lawyer who is included in Best Lawyers in that particular practice area and metro.
