MVA Represents Compact Power Equipment, Inc., in Acquisition by The Home Depot

Moore & Van Allen PLLC attorney Michael E. Zeller led the team representing Compact Power Equipment, Inc. in a definitive purchase agreement with The Home Depot® for $265 million in cash. The transaction closed on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.

The deal enhances the relationship between the two companies, which began in 2009. Compact Power Equipment, Inc. currently provides compact equipment rentals at more than 1,000 Home Depot stores in the United States and Canada and maintenance services to a range of customers through its subsidiary, Compact Power Services LLC.

In addition to Michael E. Zeller, other MVA attorneys involved in the deal included Daniel L. Johnson, Jr., Arlene Hanks, Peter McGrath, Karin McGinnis, Nathaniel Smith and Michael Tarwater, Jr.
