McGinnis & Allen Recognized by ATHENA

Two Moore & Van Allen attorneys were named to the list of final nominees for the 2014 ATHENA Leadership Awards— Charlotte Litigation and Privacy & Data Security Member Karin McGinnis was nominated for the ATHENA Leadership Corporate Award, and Public Affairs Associate Ann McMillin Allen was nominated for the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award.  All 2014 nominees and winners were recognized during a formal awards ceremony and reception held on November 11 at the Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte. 

The ATHENA Leadership Awards, which are international in scope, were created to celebrate exemplary leadership and focus on mentorship of women.  Nominees must demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession; provide valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in their community; and actively assist women in achieving their full leadership potential.
