McGinnis and Mathis Present to WiE

Charlotte Privacy and Data Security Member Karin McGinnis and Attorney Tandy Mathis presented to the Charlotte Chapter of Women in eDiscovery (WiE) on February 26 in the Charlotte Office. Their presentation discussed the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”), which presents a major change in EU privacy and data protection. McGinnis and Mathis also provided information on the coverage of and compliance with the GDPR, how to transfer data from the EU to the US in light of the new regime, and the EU-US Privacy Shield.
