McGrath Presented at the Association of Corporate Counsel Luncheon

Charlotte Litigation Member Peter McGrath presented at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) luncheon at Byron’s on April 6.  McGrath’s presentation titled, “Developments in U.S. Environmental Law,” discussed the analysis of legislation, regulation and litigation affecting environmental law in the United States in 2015-16.  The presentation covered developments in climate change response (the Paris Accords and the U.S. Clean Power Plan), changes and proposed changes to wetlands regulation, changes to national ambient air quality standards, hazardous waste management and Superfund liability.  McGrath also discussed developments in state law, including regulation of hydraulic fracturing and product labeling and warnings, such as California’s Proposition 65.
