McGrath Published in Westlaw Journal

Charlotte Litigation Member Peter McGrath's article was published in Westlaw Journal on April 13.  The article titled, "The Status of the U.S. Response to Climate Change Threats," stated that 2015 was a watershed (no pun intended) year for climate change action by national governments.  The nations participating in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change held a conference in Paris in November and December with the express goal of developing a response to the climate change problem — which the conference asserted is “threatening to wipe out the human presence in certain parts of the world.”1 In the United States, however, the Obama administration’s climate change response plans ended the year bogged down in litigation.
