Moore & Van Allen assists Schweiter Technologies in Acquisition

Moore & Van Allen PLLC (MVA) represented 3A Composites USA Inc., a subsidiary Schweiter Technologies AG (SWX: SWTQ), in the acquisition of the foam board business of Newell Brands Inc. The MVA team was led by member Michael E. Zeller, co-head of the firm’s Global Services Group, and included members Peter J. McGrath, Jr., senior counsel Beth Yount Grimes, and paralegal Sally Hentz.

The acquired assets include the production site and assets in Statesville, NC. Similar manufacturing methods, logistics networks, and sales channels will provide for seamless business integration. 

Schweiter Technologies, headquartered in Steinhausen, Switzerland, specializes in the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of composite materials and composite solutions in lightweight construction.
