Moore & Van Allen Honored for Helping to Clean the Air

Clean Air Works! recognized Moore & Van Allen for its creativity and paralegal Sally Hentz for her commitment to reducing emissions, thereby improving air quality in the area. The firm received the 2007 Innovation Award for its inventive approach to partnering with the Clean Air Works!, a project aimed at improving the Charlotte region's air quality. A partner since the project's inception, this year MVA offered Charlotte employees complimentary bus passes, upped its subsidy for regular bus riders and made locker room and shower facilities available to employees who walked, jogged or biked to work.

Charlotte Paralegal Sally Hentz was honored by Clean Air Works! as one of the top five “Clean Commuters” in the region for carpooling to work and opting to walk instead of ride when she could on the weekends.
