Moore & Van Allen Honored with Pro Bono Award

The Mecklenburg County Bar recognized Moore & Van Allen for its commitment to public service and pro bono work by presenting the firm with the Volunteer Lawyers Program Pro Bono Award for Outstanding Large Firm.

The Bar selected the firm for the several hundred hours dedicated to handling cases of varying complexity through Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc. (LANC) and Legal Services of Southern Piedmont (LSSP).  In addition to these cases, the Pro Bono Award acknowledges the firm's public service work on behalf of the Judicial Pro Se project, Access to Justice and the National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children.

Moore & Van Allen has previously received the Pro Bono Award.
