U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers have recognized Moore & Van Allen PLLC (MVA) in their 2019 “Best Law Firms” rankings, nationally and within the Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina metropolitan regions.
MVA’s Charlotte office was named a Tier 1 Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in 23 practice areas. The firm’s Research Triangle office was named a Tier 1 Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in five practice areas, and MVA’s Charleston office was named a Tier 1 Metropolitan “Best Law Firm” in two practice areas. The U. S. News - Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings are considered to be a leading survey of lawyers worldwide, ranking more than 12,000 firms in 120 practice areas. Rankings are based on a collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys, and a review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. To be eligible for a ranking in a particular practice area and metro region, a law firm must have at least one lawyer who is included in Best Lawyers in that particular practice area and metro.
