Price Co-Chairs Chamber Inter City Visit

MVA Public Affairs Managing Director and Co-head Walter Price is serving as trip co-chair for the Charlotte Chamber’s 60th Inter City Visit to Minneapolis, Minn, known as the healthiest city in America.  Fellow co-chairs include Laura Schulte, president of Eastern Regional Banking at Wells Fargo and Richard “Stick” Williams, senior vice president of environmental health and safety at Duke Energy and president of the Duke Energy Foundation.  The group is being led by Michael Tarwater, Charlotte Chamber chair and CEO of Carolinas HealthCare System. 

The Inter City Visit, offered to elected officials and Board of Advisors members only, is scheduled for June 18 - June 20.  The group will attend briefings by key business and government leaders on a variety of topics, including:  factors that have led to Minneapolis' designation as a healthy city, arts and culture, civic and corporate community leadership, downtown retail, public-private partnerships in the promotion of professional sports, public education and transportation, the city's entrepreneurial ecosystem and more.
