Reigel named Interim Director of Charlotte Chamber and Charlotte Regional Partnership

The Charlotte Chamber and Charlotte Regional Partnership announced October 2 the appointment of Charlotte Corporate Member Ernie Reigel as transition director in the preparation of the two organizations merging. Reigel, former firm chairman and a past board member of both the chamber and the regional partnership, will be responsible for shaping the structure and business model of the new organization. These responsibilities will involve leading stakeholder communications, developing a budget and managing the process for naming the new organization. Reigel’s appointment was effective as of October 1 and will help integrate the organizations until a national CEO search for the combined agency is completed early next year. Reigel will continue at MVA during this time.
