Hilary L. Fankhauser

Hilary oversees conflicts and new business intake processes at the firm, assisting in the resolution of conflicts of interest for both new matters and lateral attorneys, review of outside counsel guidelines and other nonstandard client engagement terms, and advises firm attorneys on the rules of professional conduct and ethics. Hilary works with the Firm’s General Counsel on risk management initiatives.

Prior to joining the Firm, Hilary was a compliance attorney at a large international law firm, where she advised attorneys and their Global Compliance Team regarding the identification and resolution of potential conflicts of interest, working closely with the general counsel office as well as with partners to manage risk for the firm, as well as the identification of potential sanctions concerns and navigation of client due diligence issues in the context of a global practice. She also has experience as a litigation attorney at a Houston based law firm.
