Tom Dozeman is an associate in Moore & Van Allen’s Corporate group. Tom represents public and private companies, private equity firms, and small businesses on transactions in the areas of M&A, entity formation and ownership structure, commercial contracts, corporate governance, private equity investments, and general business matters.

Overview

Tom ‘s practice focuses on representing clients with a wide range of transactional matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, drafting corporate governance documents, commercial contracts, and acquisition agreements. He provides strategic counsel for corporate reorganizations and represents start-up companies through their initial formation and early business planning. Tom also works closely with private equity clients during their initial platform investment stage and tack-on acquisition transactions navigating complex regulatory compliance issues and earn out obligations.

Tom earned his B.A., from the University of Michigan and his J.D., from Vanderbilt Law School. Prior to joining the firm, Tom practiced at Stites & Harbison PLLC.
