Moore & Van Allen’s Luis Lluberas Named to American Bankruptcy Institute’s 2021 “40 Under 40”
Moore & Van Allen PLLC (MVA) is pleased to announce that Luis M. Lluberas has been named to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 2021 “40 Under 40” Class, which recognizes 40 top industry professionals under the age of 40.
Honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony during the ABI’s 2021 Winter Leadership Conference held in California on December 10th. The ABI’s goal of the “40 Under 40” initiative is to fully engage honorees as future leaders in the insolvency profession. This year’s class was chosen from both large and small firms from every region of the country and representing diverse practice areas such as law, finance, consulting, academia, government, and more.
A member of MVA’s Financial Restructuring Group, Lluberas is based in the firm’s Charlotte office and has extensive experience representing key stakeholders in connection with all aspects of financial restructuring matters in a myriad of industries. He routinely represents financial institutions in syndicated credit facilities and other secured lending transactions and also works with strategic investors, receivers and corporate debtors.
Lluberas has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by North Carolina Super Lawyers since 2014 and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2021. He was also named to the 2021 edition of Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite “Young Guns” and was recognized in the Charlotte Business Journal’s 2018 “40 Under 40” list.
