The 2023 edition of “Best Law Firms” ranks firms in 75 national practice areas and 127 metropolitan areas. Rankings are based on client evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys, and review of information that law firms submit as part of the formal submission process. To be eligible for a national or metropolitan “Best Law Firms” ranking, a law firm practice area must have at least one lawyer in that practice ranked as a “Best Lawyer.”
