Tanisha Palvia quoted in Business North Carolina: South Asian Bar Association gets NC Chapter
Tanisha Palvia, MVA Litigation Member, was quoted in the Business North Carolina Newsletter regarding the expansion of the South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA) with its 31st chapter launching in North Carolina last week. Palvia co-founded SABA North Carolina and will serve as the group’s first President. Having a SABA Chapter in North Carolina “expands our sense of community not just in our personal lives, but also in our professional lives,” Palvia says. SABA North Carolina is an inclusive non-profit organization focused on establishing and fostering a professional community for South Asian legal professionals across North Carolina and has both in-person events in Charlotte and the Triangle and virtual events to help reach members across the state.
Anup Iyer, MVA Intellectual Property Senior Counsel, will serve on the Board for the South Asian Bar Association of North America North Carolina Chapter. Palvia says he has been instrumental in his efforts to help launch the Chapter.
