Overview
Mike focuses his practice on IP transactions and patent prosecution across a range of industries and technologies. He prepares and analyzes license agreements, IP purchase agreements, and IP security agreements in connection with M&A and debt transactions. Mike also evaluates IP portfolios and performs due diligence to support transactions and portfolio management. In addition, he assists clients with preparing and prosecuting patent applications involving various technologies and industries.
Mike obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Vanderbilt University and received a Master of Engineering Management from Duke University. He graduated from William & Mary Law School with concentrations in Intellectual Property Law and Business Law. Prior to practicing law, Mike designed and implemented automation solutions at a Fortune 500 company.
