Will Baxley is an associate in Moore & Van Allen's Litigation group. He focuses his legal practice around representing clients in the areas of white-collar crime, government investigation, and regulatory enforcement.

Overview

While in law school, Will worked for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in its Division of Market Oversight, as well as in the office of Chairman Rostin Behnam. He served as the Senior Articles Editor of The Georgetown Law Journal where he led the articles-selection process for the flagship journal.

Will had the honor of clerking for United States District Judge Michael S. Nachmanoff in the Eastern District of Virginia. He also served as the inaugural Criminal Law Fellow in the District Court for the District of Columbia, where he served as the dedicated criminal duty clerk to all four United States magistrate judges. In that role he managed the large docket of criminal cases related to the events of January 6, including the indictment and arraignment of a former president.

Will received two bachelor’s degrees in music from Jacksonville University, and his J.D. from Georgetown Law.
