Austin Wood is an associate in Moore and Van Allen’s Financial Services and Structured Capital groups.

Overview

Austin represents banks, financial institutions and corporate clients in secured and unsecured lending transactions, including single-lender and syndicated credit facilities.

Prior to joining the firm, Austin was an attorney in the Securities & Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Division of Corporate Finance. Austin worked extensively within the Disclosure Review Program, reviewing disclosures provided by companies on various form types and transactions. During his tenure with the SEC, Austin gained experience with standard IPOs, SPAC IPOs, De-SPAC transactions and proxy solicitation materials.
